Tyler attended University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, Graduated with a BS in Geography in 1997.
In 1997 Tyler entered the urban forestry field in Madison, WI. Tyler moved to Portland, OR for a full time job with Peacock Tree Preservation. In 2002 he moved back to Ophir, CO and started Arborist Services. Now, in 2017, with 20 years of experience we are proud to be able to say that we take care of some the largest and most historically significant trees in our region.
Our arborists participate in Telluride Academy’s tree climbing camp and have been teaching kids all about trees.
As tree hunters, we found the largest Blue Spruce in the state of Colorado (2013) and assisted in the discovery of the National Co-Champion Narrow Leaf Cottonwood in Lake City, Colorado (2014). Link…
