In the heart of
Telluride
Our Home
Telluride is way more than just a mountain ski town. Telluride is a special place, a real community with incredible people, enchanted landscapes and a culture of living life with purpose. We love this small town, and we call it home.
We are honored to be the trailblazers of tree care in the region. We are proud to have been building our company in Telluride since 2002. When we landed in Telluride and fell in love with the trees here, we had a vision to preserve the community’s forests one tree at a time. Back then we were a crew of only two, and today we have a dedicated tree crew of eight, office staff and loyal returning clients.
We pride ourselves on being local, employing locally and working locally to create viable careers that encourage lifelong roots here in Telluride. We are proud to be the premier tree stewards in the region and Telluride’s arborists.

Our Crew.
Our Expertise.
Our Commitment.
We care about trees. We understand trees.
We are Telluride’s premier full-service tree care company, providing services year round. Telluride Arborist® is locally owned and led by Tyler Schultz and Natalie Fijalkowski, with an incredible and dedicated team of arborists.
To maintain the highest professional credentials, we spend considerable time and resources on continued training and education.
We love the natural environment of the region and love the work we do. We cherish our time outside working and taking care of your trees.
Our team of ISA Certified Arborists provides tree care services, including: tree removals, pruning and trimming, tree planting, professional forest management, and plant health care. We also offer consultation and reports.
Our Legacy
for generations to come
We recognize and treasure the idea that healthy trees can outlive us. We want to care for trees so they thrive and can be enjoyed for many generations to come.
We are committed to community. We care about and love our local community as much as we love caring for trees. We cherish where we live and aim to make it even better. We are actively involved in caring for our region’s parks and public spaces, and we support local nonprofit organizations. We are proud to have assisted the communities of Telluride, Ridgway, and Lake City for more than a decade in preserving their amazing community parks and forests.
We are an environmentally minded tree care company. We aim to recycle 100% of our green waste. We make a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint by using locally sourced trees and shrubs, biodegradable supplies and organic fertilizers. We also plant trees in our local communities.
